Includes a very full introduction (xxiii-cxc), commentary on Beowulf, text of The Fight at Finnsburg with introduction to and commentary on that poem, glossary, and Works Cited. Damico's Foreword (vii-ix) concisely describes the history of Klaeber's great edition and particularly the conditions in which its 1936, 1941, and 1950 iterations were produced. This re-editing by Fulk, Bjork, and Niles is often informally known as "Klaeber 4." A corrected reprint was issued in 2009.
The Beowulf text begins:
