The reverse, when unfolded, is a full-size poster for the 2007 film Beowulf, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Both sides contain images from the film. When read as a booklet, the text begins with a note, "Dear Educator," by Dominic Kinsley, Editor in Chief of the publisher Young Minds Inspired (his note opens, "On November 16, the epic story Beowulf comes to life in theaters everywhere"). This is followed by an overview of the booklet's further contents, a series of three activities designed for high school classroom use. Each activity's references to "Beowulf" are to the film, not the poem, indicating a purpose more promotional than educational.
